On July 20, 1984, Hershel Walker , gave Boulch and Sons Construction a check for $6,120.21 drawn on his account with Gateway National Bank . On July 23, 1984, Boulch deposited this check in its account at United Missouri Bank . Boulch's account was credited in the amount of $6,120.21. United's records showed that Boulch closed his account on August 28, 1984.
